Welcome to my homepage. My name is

Ulrich Husemann.

I'm a physics professor at the
Institute of Experimental Particle Physics (ETP) of
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

My research is focused on

Physics at the Large Hadron Collider and particle detectors

CMS Data Analysis

Production of Higgs bosons and top quarks, and search for dark matter with the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC.

CMS Phase-2 Upgrade

Silicon strip detector modules for the upgrade of the CMS tracking detectors for the High-Luminosity LHC.

Particle Detectors for Medical Applications

Application of semiconductor tracking detectors for radiotherapy.

Teaching

Here you find information on lectures, seminars, and lab courses I taught at KIT (and elsewhere) and on suggested topics for Bachelor's and Master's theses. Please contact me if you are interested in a doctoral thesis in my group.
