Physics Research
My group focuses on flavour physics in B-meson decays and on searches for feebly interacting particles at the intensity frontier with the Belle II experiment in Japan, the SHiP at CERN, and the proposed LUXE experiment at DESY and the European Free Electron Laser (XFEL).
My team is responsible for the reconstruction software of the Belle II electromagnetic calorimeter.
We develop both online and offline algorithms, including machine learning methods, for tracking detectors and calorimeters.
We also lead the DEEP project (Data Efficiency in Embedded Processors), which develops machine learning methods for processing and reducing large data streams directly on embedded hardware such as FPGAs and CGRAs.
